The Pepper Pod’s signature Lifeshop™ program is a safe, confidential and powerful weekend retreat for women who are (or will be) transitioning out of military service, as well as for military spouses (women). Participants gain practical resources and invaluable support to facilitate an effective transition—even if their release was many years ago.

Lifeshops are offered in English or French in Chelsea, QC and in several locations across Canada. We travel to you, our sisters in arms, and meet in locations close to veteran communities.

What to expect

During the Lifeshop™, you’ll join a group of eight women working directly with Sandra Perron, facilitator and CEO of The Pepper Pod.

You and your group will work together, eat together, bunk together and relax together from Friday night through to Sunday morning.

The retreat uses the tools of neurolinguistic programming (NLP) to help you identify and eliminate limiting beliefs, recognize stress triggers, and develop effective coping strategies. By the end of the weekend, you’ll be better able to tap into your inner strength, draw on available resources, and embrace the possibilities that lie ahead.

Woven through Lifeshop™ l is a deep understanding of the unique challenges women face when transitioning out of military service. From our own personal experiences, we understand how important it is to have a tribe of women who’ve been there too.

It’s no coincidence that we plan Lifeshops around geographical regions. The connections you’ll make with your fellow Lifeshop™ participants become a vital social support system in the next chapter of your life. By the end of the weekend, you and your group will emerge as a close-knit tribe–better able to lean on one another for support.
