Congratulations to the 2023 Pepper Pod Paddlers!

They battled air quality!

They battled the wind!

They battled more experienced teams!

… and still, they qualified for the finals in their division.

It was a weekend of drive, grit, Advil and passion. With an average age of 52.7 years old, this incredible team of veteran women paddled to a 6th place finish and is already hungry for a trophy next year.

In 2024, we’ll be recruiting for three vital roles:

• Paddlers: Join the crew powering the boat to glory
• Set-Up Crew: Help set up and take down the Pepper Pod Pavilion
• Race Day Supporters: Slice watermelon and make sure everyone’s happy and hydrated

Priority for Paddler positions will be as follows:

1. Previous paddlers
2. Lifeshop™ Grads
3. The Greater Pepper Pod Community

Paddler Practice

If you will be registering as a Paddler, you’ll need to commit to team practices and the entire race weekend. Details about practices and the race dates will be available in May 2024.

Pepper Pod Pavilion

The Pepper Pod Pavilion will be your home base for the race weekend. You’ll have a comfy place to rest, and share food, drinks and laughs. Our dedicated Race Day Supporters will watch over personal items like phones and purses while Paddlers are on the water.
