The Connect-HERs initiative is a new program to address challenges encountered by women veterans experiencing homelessness. Through the outreach efforts of trained Pepper Pod volunteers, the program will positively impact the lives of women veterans who face housing instability by connecting them with helpful community organizations and resources.

Connect-HERs are dedicated members of the Pepper Pod community who have an ongoing desire to serve and give back. The program is currently operating in the Ottawa/Gatineau area and serves women who have served in the military and are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
